a2z Tumbler MagJig Ultra

The a2z Tumbler MagJig Ultra is for use with the a2z Universal Base, as part of the a2z laser jig system. It can be used with any glassware or cylindrical objects.

How the a2z jig system works

This jig works with the a2z Universal Base. The system is simple: the base mounts to your laser bed once and gets centered once — that's the only alignment you ever do. After that, this jig and every other a2z insert locate to that same base and land in exactly the same spot, every time. Switch from tumblers to coins to coasters in seconds, and the engraving files you've already dialed in keep lining up without test marks or re-framing.

1. Mount the Universal Base once. One-time setup, centered on your laser.
2. Set this jig on the base for today's job. Same base, same position, as every a2z insert.
3. Engrave with repeatable positioning. No re-alignment between jobs — ever.

The a2z Tumbler MagJig Ultra can also be mounted directly to the base of the xTool F1 Ultra and F2 Ultra series using the included M4 bolts if you would like to use it without the Universal Base. It can also be directly mounted to any galvo laser bed with M5 or M6 threads and with standard 25mm on center spacing, though won't be centered on laser unless bed is centered.

The two mounting supports are secured to the base with magnets and are easily positioned along the Tumbler Ultra base. The supports have rubber bottoms which keep them from sliding out of position.

It is mountable in the X or Y direction, depending which orientation you use the jig. As the engraveable item will already be centered on the Tumbler side-to-side from the Universal Base's mounting position, you only have to adjust where the engraving will fall on the Tumbler top to bottom by adjusting the two supports' positions.

The tilt is also adjustable by raising the adjustable supports for Tumblers with tapered or angled sides.

This jig mounts to the Universal Base plate magnetically and secures to it in any orientation in 90 degree increments. Alignment to the base plate is very accurate and any discrepancy should be imperceptible. However, if you want perfect alignment you can attach the Alignment Pegs Accessory to the bottom of the jig.
